A family holiday in Ibiza: 7-day itinerary
Seven days of calm coves, gentle walks, boat trips and beach grills — planned for actually relaxing with children.
Ibiza with children is about the quiet coves, the shallow water and the low-key pace. Here is a week that works.
## Day 1 — arrive and settle
Start near the water and do nothing much. Cala Llonga or Es Canar are gentle, well-served and immediately manageable. Swim, eat, sleep.
## Day 2 — the calm west coast
Cala Vadella is the family cove: shallow water, a beach bar and shade in the pines. In the late afternoon, walk the soft trail between Cala Vadella and Cala Molí.
## Day 3 — boats
Book a half-day snorkel trip up the east coast. Small groups, life jackets, and lunch on board keeps the sea tired feet out of the schedule.
## Day 4 — north coast coves
Take the bus or a careful drive to Benirràs and Port de Sant Miquel. The shore path between them is easy under small feet, with swim breaks.
## Day 5 — old town morning
Climb into Dalt Vila before the heat, visit the small museums, and reward everyone with ice cream on the ramparts looking over the marina.
## Day 6 — ses salines bikes or horse riding
A short, shaded riding session in the interior, or a flat e-bike loop around the salt flats, is the easiest "active" day of the trip.
## Day 7 — beach grill finale
Pick one last cove (Cala d'Hort gets the Es Vedrà view) and eat grilled fish on the sand. Then a gentle evening and home.
## The rules that keep it easy
Book restaurants and parking early, keep the middle of the day quiet, and always have water shoes and a spare towel in the bag.
