The best coastal walks in Ibiza

From clifftop watchtowers to hidden coves, these are the shoreline routes that show Ibiza at its wildest and most beautiful.

Ibiza's coast is more than beaches — it is a shoreline of watchtowers, red cliffs and quiet coves linked by old paths. These are the walks we return to most. ## Torre des Savinar from Cala d'Hort The classic. A gentle track above the beach leads to an 18th-century tower with the best land view of Es Vedrà. Best at sunset; unfenced edges near the tower. ## Benirràs to Punta des Lleó The north coast at its rawest: pine woods, empty coves and a horizon that belongs to the sea. Rugged underfoot, gloriously quiet. ## Cap des Molar A short, rocky climb to one of the island's loneliest watchtowers, with views across to Formentera on clear days. ## Port de Sant Miquel to Cala Xuclar An easy, family-friendly shore path to a near-secret cove — the perfect gentle version of a north-coast walk. ## What to take Water, water shoes for coves, and a phone with an offline map. Start early in summer — the coast overheats fast by mid-morning.
